This year I’m making a concerted effort to just chill a bit from playing shows to write some more. But couldn’t resist the opportunity to play with this band called Big Thief. At my Sydney Christmas show last year my special guest Julia Jacklin chose to sing a cover by them. The song is called Paul and it’s so good. Anyway, this show will be intimate and it’s at the Wombarra Bowls Club just south of Sydney. You can get a train down. I’ve seen a few great shows there over the years, plus one of my best mates had his wedding breakfast on the green. But I’ve heard it’s gonna be torn down soon for new developments so this is rumoured to be the last show ever there.

As for me, I’ll doing in band mode of some description. More details to come. And I’d say it’ll be my only show on Australian soil until xmas again. Hope you can make it. And if you can’t, try and get to another Big Thief show while they’re in Australia.
